HISTORY
In 1966, the activities of the "Negoro Lullaby Preservation Society" started with Kasuri kimono and yellow belt costumes. At that time, 45 housewives from the women's association gathered together to set up a place to announce lullabies and began singing as a cultural preservation activity.
There is no score because the lullaby is to sing the tunes heard from the mother to her child. There were 5 to 6 ways of tunes, and about 15 ways of lyrics were transmitted, but in order to pass it on to future generations correctly, we took the initiative and conducted an interview survey with a large number of local elderly people. As a result, I still sing the lullaby of 400 years ago. I want to leave the passion of our predecessors to posterity.
We are working with that in mind.

Participated in a folk performing arts competition at the Wakayama Prefectural Cultural Center as a project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the prefecture.
